Babies Body Parts Being Bought by FDA – The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is reportedly ‘doing business’ with a well-known company referred for criminal charges. Apparently, the FDA is now ordering aborted babies’ body parts for experimentation. The evidence is damning and yet opposing voices are being silenced by lack of reporting in the mainstream media..
FDA – Science at any price?
The experiments involve the creation of human immune systems in mice. The ACLJ has collected over thousands of signatures for a petition to end American tax dollars to fund this appalling practice. CNS News reported that the FDA signed a new contract with the company, the reason?
“…to acquire ‘fresh’ human fetal tissue to transplant into ‘humanized mice’ so that these mice will have functioning ‘human immune systems…‘” LINK
Alder Hey
Many years ago, Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool, UK was the center of a similar scandal. The hospital retained hearts and organs from hundreds of children without the coroner’s or parental consent. Many hundreds were babies who had died between 1988 until 1996. Around 400 fetuses were also collected and stored. It was referred to as the ‘cash for tissues’ row.
In the hearing that followed Professor Dick Van Velzen, the pathologist at the center of the scandal, admitted using some organs for research purposes. The scandal eventually led to the passing of the Human Tissue Act 2004 .
Man’s Moral Compass?
So let’s get philosophical for a moment. I think that we can all agree that in order for man to carry out such things, such as selling aborted baby parts for profit, there has to be something more at work. Since the fall, mankind has embraced a spiritual void. This detachment from God, his creator, makes him vulnerable.
At the same time we must also acknowledge that it is ultimately this unbelief of God that enables man to extinguish the life of the unborn. In His mind, there is no-one to answer to.
No accountability + no sacredness of life = no conscience.
When a person is in this condition, he or she is easily influenced by evil, aka the devil. I know because for the first 29 years of my life I was an atheist. I believed in the power of thought, visualization and self-determination. This unbelief enables one to partake in all sorts of immoral behaviors as well as poor decision-making.
What I believe is currently happening within our society, is that people are being grafted-in unknowingly, to this broken tree. Becoming more and more accepting that these unethical ways are the norm. Without God, man has no true purpose. He staggers through life, clothed in immorality, disorientated and reckless – a purposeless ship without rudder.
God is Omnipresent
However, the good news is that with God, all things become new. Life has purpose and meaning. The path is mapped clearly, the way is straight and narrow. It is difficult at times of course, however Jesus is with us, carrying us, helping us, to make the right choices and decisions. Above all life has value, worth and meaning.
Each life is precious and has been predestined by God.
“In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will…” – Ephesians 1:11
I acknowledge it is easy to analyze these things from the ‘safety’ of our armchairs. All we can do is pray that man will turn away from his present course and cry out to God for forgiveness. This can only occur when he accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior. However, there is a penalty and an accountability as well. This is whether you are a believer or not:-
“I said to myself, ‘God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.’” Ecclesiastes 3:17
